Job Description
Seeking an experienced imaging technician preferably OEM experience. Must have service experience on medical imaging (Nuc Med and PET) Repairs, calibrates, and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation used in health care delivery field by performing the following duties. Inspects and installs medical and related technical equipment in medical facilities. Repairs, calibrates, and maintains medical x-ray equipment. Safety tests medical equipment to ensure patient and staff safety from electrical or mechanical hazards. Consults with staff to ascertain that equipment functions properly and safely. Demonstrates and explains correct operation of equipment to facility staff. Modifies or develops devices under supervision. This position is required to take after hours call and respond as necessary. This position is also required to travel on a regular basis to complete the job duties. PLEASE LIST EXPERIENCE WITH SPECIFIC LIST OF MANUFACTURER AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT.


Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
